Gwangju Seobu Fire Station, Sharing Happiness Volunteer Activities Ahead of Chuseok
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Seobu Fire Station of Gwangju Metropolitan City (Chief Yang Young-gyu) announced on the 15th that it conducted volunteer activities for vulnerable groups in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.
The volunteer activities took place on the 14th at Dongmyeong Nursing Home in Seo-gu, where four firefighters participated while adhering to COVID-19 prevention guidelines. The activities mainly involved outdoor tasks such as cleaning the surroundings of the building and delivering daily necessities.
A representative of the Seobu Fire Station said, "Although everyone is feeling fatigued due to COVID-19, we hope that everyone can have a warm and abundant Chuseok." He added, "We will continue to actively participate in volunteer activities."
