InterContinental Launches 'Grab and Go' Hotel Lunchbox Delivery Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] The Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas announced on the 15th that starting from the third week of September, it will offer a 'Grab & Go' lunchbox delivery service featuring popular menu items from the hotel buffet restaurant 'Grand Kitchen' through Baemin1, a delivery service by Baedal Minjok.
The first available delivery items are two types of Grab & Go lunchboxes: 'Grab & Go Surf & Turf' and 'Grab & Go Premium,' both composed of popular buffet menu items. The Grab & Go Surf & Turf includes about 10 dishes such as lobster butter grill and steak as the main dishes, barley gulbi salad, abalone nutritious rice, spicy fried chicken (Kkanpunggi), bocconcini salad, and dessert. The Grab & Go Premium features grilled eel, spicy fried chicken (Kkanpunggi), and LA galbi as main dishes, along with asparagus salad, lotus leaf rice, focaccia bread, and dessert. The Grab & Go lunchboxes will be sold with new menu compositions starting in October.
Ordering via the delivery app is available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for lunch and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for dinner. Delivery service is available to some areas in Gangnam-gu and Songpa-gu near Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where the hotel is located.
The hotel stated, "With the launch of this delivery service, customers can conveniently enjoy a satisfying meal prepared by InterContinental hotel chefs at home," adding, "In the future, we plan to expand the service to include various items available for delivery, such as bakery items from Grand Deli freshly baked by our patissiers on demand."

Since its first release in May last year, the Grand Kitchen's lunchbox series 'Grab & Go' has been sold with new menus each season. The hotel explained that sales in August increased about eightfold compared to the same period last year, showing consistently high demand.
