'Seoul World Fireworks Festival' Canceled Two Years in a Row Due to COVID-19

Hanwha Group announced on the 15th that it has decided not to hold the 'Seoul International Fireworks Festival with Hanwha.'
A Hanwha Group official explained, "We have been actively considering holding the fireworks festival within the scope of complying with quarantine guidelines to offer a small comfort to the people exhausted by COVID-19, but after consultations with health authorities and the Seoul Metropolitan Government, we concluded not to hold the event in consideration of citizens' health and safety."

The Seoul International Fireworks Festival is held every early October at Yeouido Hangang Citizen's Park in Seoul. It is a world-class event hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Hanwha Group, and has recorded the highest number of spectators every year since its first event in 2000.
