Gwangju Nam-gu '8th Book Festival Contest' Held
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Kim Byung-nae) is holding a contest for works to be submitted to the '8th Nam-gu Residents' Book Festival' until the 15th of next month.
Nam-gu is accepting entries from Gwangju citizens in the fields of writing and video separately.
The writing category consists of 'Book Exhibition with Family,' introducing books you want to read with family members; 'Children's Fairy Tale Books' recommended by children; 'Poetry Within Me,' introducing a poem that resides in your heart; and 'Reading Essay Contest,' writing a book report after reading a book.
The manuscript length is one A4 page, and for the reading essay contest, submissions should be within two A4 pages.
The theme of the video contest is 'Have You Visited Nam-gu Bookstores?' It was prepared to promote neighborhood bookstores that are losing their place, and the content should include visiting local bookstores in the district and introducing them through video.
