‘Charge Electric Vehicles Instantly with Barcode Scan’... GS Caltex App Launch
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] GS Caltex launched the electric vehicle charging mobile application ‘Energy Plus EV’ on the 13th. It aims to enhance the convenience for electric vehicle users, enabling services such as easy charging, charger information search, and charging fee discounts.
If users pre-register their charging patterns and payment methods in the app, they can simply scan a barcode at the charger to place a charging order and make payment in one step. It can be used at all GS Caltex electric vehicle chargers nationwide. During charging, users can monitor the progress such as charging amount, speed, and cost through the app, and remote control is also possible. The app also provides information on the location and current availability of chargers from other companies, and offers route guidance by linking with navigation systems.
