According to the COVID-19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team (Promotion Team) on the 12th, the number of new first-dose vaccinations the previous day was 326,756.
The number of new first-dose vaccinations was 650,079 on the weekday of the 10th, but dropped to about half on Saturday due to shortened operations at entrusted medical institutions and vaccination centers. The number of new first-dose vaccinations by vaccine type was Pfizer 253,259, Moderna 63,474, Janssen 9,510, and AstraZeneca (AZ) 513.
As of midnight that day, the cumulative number of first-dose vaccinations in the country was 33,133,333, accounting for 64.5% of the total population (51,349,116 as of December last year). The first-dose vaccination rate among the population aged 18 and over, the target group for vaccination, was 75.0%. The cumulative first-dose vaccinations by vaccine type were Pfizer 17,922,117, AstraZeneca 11,093,377, and Moderna 2,781,033.
The cumulative number of Janssen vaccine recipients was 1,333,806. Since the Janssen vaccine is completed with one dose, it is reflected in both the first and second dose figures.
The number of people newly completing the second dose the previous day was 211,405. By vaccine type, excluding Janssen, Pfizer had 142,442, Moderna 57,912, and AstraZeneca 1,541.
The total number of people who completed the second dose reached 20,036,176, surpassing 20 million. This corresponds to 39.0% of the population. Based on the population aged 18 and over, it is 45.4%.
The cumulative number of completed vaccinations by vaccine type was AstraZeneca 10,308,897 (including 1,577,483 cross-vaccinations), Pfizer 7,543,875, Moderna 849,598, with the remainder being Janssen recipients.

Among the total target group for the Pfizer vaccine (27,306,177), 65.6% received the first dose and 27.6% completed the second dose. For the AstraZeneca vaccine, 93.5% of the target group (11,860,894) received the first dose, and the second dose completion rate was 86.9%. For the Moderna vaccine, 55.8% of the total target group (4,979,808) received the first dose, and the second dose completion rate was 17.1%. For the Janssen vaccine, 96.9% of the total target group (1,376,493) completed vaccination.
