Wando-gun Holds 'Idea Contest' to Lead County Administration Development

2021 Wando County Government Development Idea Contest Announcement ⓒ Asia Economy

[Wando＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyungpil] Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 10th that it will hold the ‘2021 Wando-gun County Administration Development Idea Contest’ for about 8 weeks from the 7th of this month to the 31st of next month.

This contest was prepared to discover various policy ideas related to overall county administration and to reflect them in the county administration.

The contest theme is ‘Various policy ideas to realize a hopeful future Wando where everyone lives well,’ and any ideas that improve the quality of life of residents across the county administration, including population, climate change, jobs and economy, culture and tourism, agriculture, fisheries and livestock, health and welfare, are welcome.

Anyone interested in Wando county administration is eligible to participate.

Applications can be submitted through the national participation portal, the National Sinmungo contest proposal, or by mail or in person to the Policy Planning Team of the Planning and Budget Office at Wando County Office or the General Affairs Team at the Eup/Myeon offices.

If selected as an excellent idea, certificates and prize money (Gold Prize 700,000 KRW, Silver Prize 500,000 KRW, Bronze Prize 300,000 KRW, Encouragement Prize 150,000 KRW) will be awarded.

County Governor Shin Woo-cheol said, “I greatly expect that innovative and diverse ideas for county administration development will be proposed through this national idea contest,” and added, “We hope for active participation from those interested in the development of Wando-gun.”
