Venture Business Association Launches 'Digital Healthcare Policy Committee'

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Venture Business Association (Chairman Kang Sam-gwon) announced that it held the launch ceremony of the 'Digital Healthcare Policy Committee' on the 10th at Novotel Ambassador Gangnam to advance and sophisticate Korea's digital healthcare ecosystem.
The Digital Healthcare Policy Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) will be organized and operated by the Korea Venture Business Association along with domestic digital healthcare industry entrepreneurs, related experts, and civic groups. The Committee plans to focus on discovering and proposing policies to promote public health and advance and sophisticate Korea's digital healthcare ecosystem. Specifically, it plans various activities to ▲promote communication between the government and companies ▲non-face-to-face medical treatment ▲activation of the digital healthcare industry such as bio and ICT convergence medical devices, and resolving regulations.
In particular, it will focus on promoting policy and institutional improvements for the advancement of the digital healthcare ecosystem in cooperation with the government, the National Assembly, and the medical community. It also plans to strengthen efforts to improve the regulatory environment through continuous cooperation with domestic and overseas companies and civic groups.
