[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 7th that it will sell a limited edition of 50 units of the Sonata N Line’s exterior design-specialized model, ‘The Black,’ starting from the 9th.
The Sonata N Line appears as a scene-stealer in the gunfight scenes of the protagonists in the movie 'Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins.' Hyundai explained that sales will begin to coincide with the movie’s release date on the 9th.
The Sonata N Line The Black is based on the Sonata N Line Premium trim and features a dedicated design inspired by the movie’s protagonist character ‘Snake Eyes,’ applying a black exterior with red accents.
The front features projection-type LED headlamps, a Hyundai emblem in dark chrome color, and a striking red-colored fog lamp garnish.
On the sides, matte black 19-inch wheels, door handles, and outside mirror covers visually contrast with red-colored brake calipers. The rear applies dark chrome color to the Hyundai emblem and Sonata lettering to unify with the front, and completes a dynamic look with a carbon rear spoiler.
The interior is equipped with Nappa leather suede seats, front ventilated seats, a power driver’s seat, and a 10.25-inch navigation system supporting wireless updates to enhance convenience.
Additionally, Hyundai’s intelligent safety technologies are extensively equipped, including ▲Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (for cyclists and oncoming vehicles at intersections) ▲Smart Cruise Control ▲Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist ▲Safe Exit Assist ▲Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist ▲Highway Driving Assist ▲Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control, helping ensure safe driving.
Hyundai will continue to exhibit The Black at Hyundai Motor Goyang Autosquare until the end of this month. Furthermore, starting from the 14th, Hyundai plans to implement The Black through content renewal on the metaverse platform Zepeto, allowing more customers to experience it.
The price of The Black (based on a 3.5% individual consumption tax) is 35.68 million KRW.
