This is 130 fewer than the 1,475 cases counted at the same time the previous day. It is 72 more than the 1,273 cases counted at 9 PM last Sunday (August 29).
Looking at the regions where confirmed cases were reported on this day, the metropolitan area accounted for 936 cases (69.6%), and non-metropolitan areas accounted for 409 cases (30.4%).
By city and province, Seoul had 454 cases, Gyeonggi 399 cases, Incheon 83 cases, Chungnam 62 cases, Gyeongnam 52 cases, Busan 50 cases, Daegu 40 cases, Ulsan 39 cases, Gyeongbuk 38 cases, Daejeon 30 cases, Gwangju 28 cases, Gangwon 25 cases, Chungbuk 24 cases, Jeju 9 cases, Jeonbuk 7 cases, Jeonnam 3 cases, and Sejong 2 cases.
