Gyeongnam Jeongbo University Signs Academic Exchange Agreement for Digital Innovation Shared University with 6 Universities Including Korea University and Seoul National University
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] On the 2nd, Gyeongnam Information University signed an academic exchange agreement with six universities nationwide jointly participating in the ‘Digital New Technology Talent Nurturing Innovation Shared University Project (Energy New Industry Sector).’
The six universities, led by Korea University, include Seoul National University, Hanyang University, Kangwon National University, Pusan National University, and Jeonbuk National University, collaborating to promote the shared university project.
The agreement ceremony was conducted via video conference. Presidents, vice presidents, and project leaders from each university attended.
The ‘Innovation Shared University’ project is an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Education aiming to narrow the educational capability gap between regions and universities and to cultivate national core talents through sharing human and material resources.
Gyeongnam Information University plans to establish a cooperative system with the six universities focusing on nurturing future talents in the energy new industry sector, jointly developing courses and sharing educational content centered on renewable energy such as hydrogen and fuel cells.
