Gwangju Dongbu Office of Education Conducts Proactive Administration Training for Staff
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] The Gwangju Dongbu Office of Education announced on the 2nd that it conducted workplace training under the theme of ‘Understanding and Practicing Proactive Administration.’
This workplace training was conducted simultaneously in six departments’ offices through real-time video in a non-face-to-face manner, and Professor Lee Seung-mo from the Local Government Human Resources Development Institute was invited as the instructor for the training.
Professor Lee said, “In the rapidly changing administrative environment due to the 4th Industrial Revolution and innovative growth, there is a need for flexible administrative changes due to the gap between existing laws, systems, and the field. It is necessary to protect public officials who carry out proactive administration with the public interest as the goal of change, and to practice proactive administration based on creativity and expertise by utilizing various support systems.”
Kim Cheol-ho, Superintendent of the Dongbu Office of Education, said, “We expect this training to greatly help raise awareness of proactive administration among faculty and staff and to realize educational administration trusted by students and citizens. We will continue to conduct awareness improvement training on proactive administration to prevent passive administration and do our best to establish a culture of proactive administration within the organization.”
