Daejeon City Bus and Urban Railway Nighttime Service Reduction 'Lifted'
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City announced that starting from the 2nd, the nighttime reduced operation of local city buses and urban rail will be lifted.
The nighttime reduced operation began on the 5th of last month following the escalation to Level 4 of social distancing. The reduction rate was 43% for city buses and 50% for urban rail from 10 PM until the last train on the first day of implementation.
However, as the social distancing level was lowered to Level 3 from the previous day, the city explained that the nighttime reduced operation will also be lifted.

A city official stated, “With the easing of social distancing, the nighttime reduced operation of local city buses and urban rail will be lifted, and from the 2nd, normal operation will resume as before the reduction. We thank the citizens who have participated in preventing the spread of COVID-19 through the reduced operation of buses and urban rail.”
