Gyeongsang National University-Jinju City 'Win-Win Development Council' Officially Begins Activities

This meeting was a working-level meeting following the win-win development agreement signed between the two organizations on July 27.
The two organizations formed a Win-Win Development Council chaired jointly by Gyeongsang National University Vice President for Research Jeong Woo-geon and Jinju Deputy Mayor Shin Jong-woo, with five directors and managers from both organizations participating.
The council shared cooperation cases between other regional universities and local governments and determined the need for mutual trust and commitment between the mayor and the university president for regional development, the operation of a permanent consultative body for win-win development, and the discovery and commercialization of issues that can be jointly resolved with an active attitude.

They also agreed on the university's social role, municipal administration goals and policy implementation, and the necessity of balanced development in Jinju City, and decided to promote joint cooperation projects and program proposals and discoveries, set project priorities through feasibility reviews (budget, municipal administration direction, joint usability, etc.), and establish annual schedules for the execution of cooperative projects.
