Seeking 'Digital Government Advancement Strategies' for Six Member Countries of the Central American Integration System
Online Seminar on Korea-Central America Integration System Digital Government Cooperation on the 2nd
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] On the 2nd, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 1st that it will hold an 'Online Seminar on Digital Government Cooperation' with digital government officials from six Central American Integration System (SICA) member countries: Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Belize, Honduras, Costa Rica, and Panama.
This seminar was organized to strengthen practical cooperation in the field of digital transformation, included in the joint declaration of the 4th Korea-SICA Summit held on June 25.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety will introduce the operation cases of the 'Digital Government Cooperation Center,' a local hub supporting digital government development, and discuss with participating countries ways to expand the cooperation center to the Central American region.
The National Tax Service and the Korea Fiscal Information Service will also participate in this seminar to share information about Korea's national tax system and fiscal information system.
