MFDS Suspends Sales and Recalls Health Supplement 'Rexso' Due to Detection of Unauthorized Substances
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety announced on the 31st that it has suspended sales of 'Rexo (Vitamin B2)', manufactured and sold by Korea Natural Farm, a health functional food manufacturer located in Seo-gu, Daegu, after detecting unauthorized substances.
The Ministry confirmed the presence of sildenafil and tadalafil in Rexo, leading to the suspension of sales and a recall of the product. The recall targets products with an expiration date marked as August 19, 2022, with a total production amount of 138.4 kg.
Sildenafil was detected at 93.6 mg/g and tadalafil at 30.0 mg/g in this product.
