Gwangju Chamber of Commerce to Recruit Companies for Gwangju Model Job Certification Participation Next Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Jeong Chang-seon) announced that it will recruit companies to participate in the '2021 Gwangju-type Job Certification' jointly with Gwangju Metropolitan City until the 16th of next month.
The Gwangju-type Job Certification is a project that selects companies within the region as certified companies based on stable labor-management relations, appropriate wage payments, compliance with working hours, and contributions to the expansion of win-win jobs, providing various benefits.
Certified companies receive support funds ranging from 20 million KRW to 100 million KRW depending on the number of employees, along with 14 types of financial, tax, and administrative incentives.
So far, a total of 14 companies, including Kobico Co., Ltd. and Daeyu A-Tech Co., Ltd., have received the certification.
Choi Jong-man, full-time vice chairman of the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, "We plan to discover companies that play a leading role in creating a win-win labor-management corporate culture in the region and expanding good jobs," adding, "Through this, we expect the competitiveness of local companies and industries to be strengthened."
