View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] The Korea International Trade Association Trade Academy announced on the 31st that it has launched the "1st Global E-commerce Master Course."
This course is a professional training program designed to meet the needs of the rapidly expanding digital trade field. Over approximately 400 hours during four months, participants will receive intensive education on trade practices such as export-import contracts, customs clearance, and insurance, as well as operation methods of global e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Shopee, trend analysis using artificial intelligence (AI) and big data, social networking service (SNS) marketing, and branding strategies. After completion, trainees can find employment as e-commerce merchandisers (MDs), online marketers, or start their own e-commerce businesses.

Jang Seokmin, Secretary General of the Trade Academy, said at the entrance ceremony held the day before, "Since COVID-19, online trade has grown significantly due to restrictions on human and material movement between countries," adding, "We hope this course, which teaches new digital-centered trade, will play a significant role in addressing the shortage of manpower in the trade industry, youth unemployment issues, and further contribute to the development of our trade."
