[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Goyang City in Gyeonggi Province is collecting recyclable resources and providing incentives to citizens for recycling disposal.
According to the city on the 30th, if residents bring PET (clear PET, colored PET, sheet PET) and plastics (PE, PP, PS, OTHER), they can accumulate points, and when they reach 5,000 points, a 5,000 KRW coupon of Goyang local currency (Goyang Pay) will be issued.
Clear PET earns 10 points per item regardless of size, colored PET, sheet PET, and plastics (OTHER) earn 50 points per kilogram, and plastics (PE, PP, PS) earn 100 points per kilogram. However, the reward points may change in the future.
