[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has reported signs of reactor restart at the Yongbyon nuclear facility, while the government stated that South Korea and the United States are monitoring North Korea's nuclear missile activities.
An official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on the 30th, "Our government is continuously monitoring North Korea's nuclear missile activities in close cooperation with the United States."
Earlier, foreign media, citing a recent IAEA report, reported that "since early July, there have been several signs such as the release of cooling water from the reactor," indicating signs of reactor restart at the Yongbyon nuclear facility.
