Korbit Introduces Pilot 37-Hour Workweek... Early Leave at 4 PM Every Other Week
[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] Domestic cryptocurrency exchange Korbit announced on the 27th that it has pilot introduced a 37-hour workweek system, allowing employees to leave work at 4 PM every other week.
Under the 37-hour workweek system, Korbit employees leave work at 4 PM, three hours earlier than the regular quitting time, on the second and fourth Fridays of each month. This also applies to employees working from home due to COVID-19.
Korbit explained that at 4 PM, the internal PC network is automatically disconnected to encourage employees to leave work. It is known that employee satisfaction is high and there has been no decrease in work productivity, so the company is considering officially implementing the reduced work hours system.
