Agreement on 'Overseas Expansion and Technology Export Activation for SMEs in the Energy Sector' on the 26th

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 26th that it has signed a business agreement with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (President Jung Jae-hoon, hereinafter KHNP) to promote overseas expansion and technology export of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the energy sector.
Through this agreement, both organizations plan to expand opportunities for SMEs to enter overseas markets linked to overseas project orders and strengthen collaboration to export excellent energy technologies possessed by SMEs.
SBC will provide companies participating in KHNP's overseas project orders with opportunities such as residency in export incubators and participation in technology exchange consultation meetings. KHNP will strengthen its win-win growth program to expand SMEs' overseas market opportunities and commercialize advanced technologies, and will strive to transfer KHNP-owned technologies to SMEs and activate joint public-private investment new product development projects.
Additionally, both parties plan to develop and operate collaborative programs for local market development in regions where SBC's export incubators and KHNP's overseas branches are jointly located or where new project orders are being pursued, such as the UAE, the United States, and Chile.
