North Korea to Hold Supreme People's Assembly on 28th Next Month... Adoption of Youth Education Guarantee Law (Comprehensive)
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] North Korea will hold the Supreme People's Assembly, the equivalent of the South's regular National Assembly, at the end of next month to discuss the adoption of the Youth Education Guarantee Law and other matters.
On the 26th, the Korean Central News Agency reported, "The 16th plenary meeting of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly was held on the 24th at the Mansudae Assembly Hall," and "It was decided to convene the 5th session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly on September 28 in Pyongyang."
According to the news agency, the 5th session of the Supreme People's Assembly will discuss issues related to the adoption of the City and County Development Law, the Youth Education Guarantee Law, and the revision and supplementation (amendment) of the People's Economic Plan Law.

Separately, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly decided to revise and supplement the Road Traffic Law and the Forest Law at the plenary meeting on the 24th.
