KSD Signs Business Agreement to Create Jobs for Low-Income Groups in Local Communities

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] The Korea Securities Depository announced on the 25th that it signed a "Business Agreement for Job Creation for Low-Income Groups in the Local Community" with the Busan branch of the Korea Regional Self-Support Center Association on the 24th to create jobs for low-income groups in the Busan area.
This business agreement was signed to support self-support work jobs for low-income groups in the Busan area with work ability, as the number of low-income people in Busan has increased due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Attendees at the signing ceremony included Geum Jong-ik, Executive Director of the Korea Securities Depository, Kim Dong-hoon, Head of the Busan branch of the Korea Regional Self-Support Center Association, and other representatives from partner organizations.
As part of the agreement, the Depository will promote the ‘Self-Support Participant Total Clean Master Support Project’ this year, supporting the creation of a total of 60 new self-support work jobs.
The ‘Self-Support Participant Total Clean Master Support Project’ is a program in which self-support participants belonging to 12 Busan Regional Self-Support Centers will visit 176 households of children in housing-vulnerable families from September for three months to provide comprehensive cleaning services such as cleaning, laundry, and disinfection.
