At the event, Bae Jin-kyo, floor leader of the Justice Party, pointed out, "The criteria for presuming intent and gross negligence, as well as the definition of fake news, are ambiguous," adding, "Who would benefit from such ambiguity? It is obvious that former or retired high-ranking public officials and elected officials, their relatives, and companies large enough to file strategic lawsuits, though not large corporations, will flood the courts with lawsuits, escaping the legal net restricted by the Democratic Party."
