He said, "The land suspected of violating the Farmland Act was purchased in 2004 and 2006," and added, "Before announcing the suspicion of violation of the Farmland Act, the ACRC should have directly visited the site to investigate 'whether it was cultivated' and the 'shape of the farmland,' but they made the decision without any such process."
He further claimed, "Considering the recent expiration of the statute of limitations on the Farmland Act violation case of a certain Democratic Party lawmaker, this case involves land purchased much earlier than that of the Democratic Party lawmaker. The ACRC is aware that there is a high possibility that the statute of limitations will expire, yet this is a forced investigation result to match the equal number of ruling and opposition party members."
