Advance Notice for the Selection Examination of Teacher Candidates in 22 Subjects

The planned number of middle school teacher positions to be selected in Jeonnam this year is a total of 378 across 22 subjects (including special and extracurricular subjects), including persons with disabilities.
This notice provided a general guide on the planned subjects and number of positions to be selected, and the final subjects, number of positions, and detailed exam information will be announced through the exam implementation plan notice on October 15.
After the announcement, applications will be accepted online through the recruitment system from October 25 to 29, and on November 27, 17 cities and provinces will simultaneously hold the first written exam.
An official from the Provincial Office of Education stated, “Despite the planned continuous reduction in the number of teachers due to the declining school-age population, we have made efforts to secure the maximum number of positions through active consultation with the Ministry of Education to prepare for the future education system and to stabilize long-term teacher supply and demand.”

Meanwhile, to promote the selection of teachers with disabilities, the current method of designating some subjects for selecting disabled teachers will be improved, and starting next year, a total quota system for selecting teachers with disabilities will be implemented, selecting disabled teachers in all subjects.
