On the 23rd, according to the police, a representative from the Naju Police Station in Jeonnam stated, "The KakaoTalk conversation content submitted by Welfare Center representative Mr. A, who was booked without detention on charges of sexual intercourse and molestation by abuse of authority at work, was confirmed by forensic results to be unaltered," adding, "A call recording file between the two was found on Mr. A's phone and is currently under analysis."
Previously denying the sexual assault allegations, Mr. A submitted KakaoTalk conversation records with victim Ms. B to the police. The messages included Ms. B calling Mr. A 'jagiya' (honey), 'office yeobo' (office darling), and sending messages like 'allabung~~♡♡'. Ms. B also referred to herself as Mr. A's 'office wife.'

The petitioner, who introduced himself as the husband of victim Ms. B, stated, "Since early April, the Welfare Center's representative has used his authority to exert power and repeatedly sexually assaulted my wife and forced her into acts of sexual nature," adding, "My wife became severely depressed due to this incident and attempted suicide, which deeply shocked me and our three elementary school-aged children. Our once peaceful family instantly turned into hell."
He continued, "Initial investigations are crucial in sex crime cases, but there has been no progress in basic site inspections, employee testimonies within the center, or securing CCTV evidence. Even more than two weeks after filing the complaint, I do not know if any investigation into the suspect has been conducted," demanding strict punishment for the Welfare Center and representative Mr. A. The petitioner revealed that he had filed a police complaint against Mr. A, and the petition ended on the 21st.
The police confirmed that the KakaoTalk conversation content was not manipulated but stated that they cannot rule out the possibility of sexual assault. The police are focusing on whether there was coercion during the first sexual encounter between the two. A police official said, "It is still difficult to predict the investigation results," and added, "We plan to conclude the case once the forensic analysis of the call recordings is complete."
