Imsil-gun Dream Start Operates 'Experience Program' for Vulnerable Groups
[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Nosik] Dream Start in Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk recently conducted string craft and water play experience activities for 30 children from vulnerable groups.
According to the county on the 23rd, this experience activity was prepared to satisfy the desire for outdoor activities through various experience activities for children who were not free to engage in outdoor activities even during the summer vacation due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, and to promote the development of consideration skills and sociality by interacting with peer children.
In particular, the water play experience was conducted at a water depth suitable for children's water play, allowing children to run and play freely, forget the heat, and create enjoyable and exciting memories through the program.
Also, the activity was conducted while wearing masks in compliance with COVID-19 prevention safety rules.
This activity provided an opportunity for children to enhance their imagination and concentration through string craft activities held at the Youth Culture House, feel a sense of accomplishment through the completion of crafts, and emotionally interact while communicating with their peers.
County Governor Shim Min said, "It is very meaningful that children can create joyful summer vacation memories through this experience activity," and added, "We will continue to strive to prepare various experience activities that help children's emotional development and allow them to experience safely and healthily."
