For Individuals Experiencing Income Reduction Due to COVID-19
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 23rd, Damyang County, Jeollanam-do announced that it will provide income stabilization funds to charter bus drivers whose income has decreased due to a decline in passenger demand.
The support targets drivers who have been continuously employed since before June 13 of this year, and each individual will receive 800,000 KRW in government-supported income stabilization funds.
For drivers affiliated with corporations whose sales decline has been confirmed, the corporation must directly submit the application form and attached documents to the Damyang County Grassroots Economy Division by the 9th of next month.
The county had previously provided 700,000 KRW per person to charter bus drivers in June, and has distributed support funds three times since the outbreak of COVID-19.
