Jo Gyu-yeol, Former Deputy Governor of KEXIM, Appointed as CEO of Segyero Ship Finance
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Jeong-su] Segyero Ship Finance Co., Ltd. announced on the 18th that at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on the 17th, Jo Gyu-yeol, former Head of the Marine Restructuring Division (Vice President) at the Export-Import Bank of Korea, was appointed as the new CEO.
New CEO Jo holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Korea Maritime University and worked for over 30 years at the Export-Import Bank of Korea, serving as Head of the Marine Project Finance Department, Director of the Marine Finance Comprehensive Center, and Head of the Marine Restructuring Division (Vice President). In January 2018, he was appointed as the 2nd President of Korea Marine Guarantee Insurance.
Afterwards, until July of this year, he successfully completed a three-year term serving as Head of the Guarantee Division, Policy Support Division, and Shipping Finance Division 1 at the Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Corporation from its inception.
