Gangjin Police Station - Chorokwoosan, 'Emergency Support' for Children at Risk of Crime Victimization
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-su] Emergency support funds have been delivered to children at risk of crime victimization in the Gangjin area of Jeonnam.
The Gangjin Police Station announced on the 17th that it recently held the 'Emergency Support Fund Delivery Ceremony for Children at Risk of Crime Victimization' together with the Jeonnam Regional Headquarters of the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation.
This emergency support fund was decided upon as the Gangjin Police discovered children at risk and requested support from the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation.
The police's identification of at-risk children and the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation's customized support system represent a closely coordinated effort between the two organizations.
Park Seung-gi, chief of the Gangjin Police Station, said, "Children who are victims of crime suffer lifelong trauma from childhood victimization, and without early support, proper personality formation and developmental growth are difficult," adding, "We will continue to cooperate with the foundation to establish a thorough victim protection and support system."
