View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Yoon Seok-yeol, former Prosecutor General and presidential candidate of the People Power Party, sparked controversy after it was revealed that he had 'liked' and then canceled a Facebook post criticizing Lee Jun-seok, the leader of the People Power Party. In response, Yoon's camp explained, "The SNS manager mistakenly thought it was their own account and clicked 'like'."
On the 15th, Jeong Jung-gyu, former co-chairman of the Barunmirae Party's National Disability Committee, shared an article titled "Yoon Seok-yeol and Choi Jae-hyung open fire side by side at Lee Jae-myung... Yoo Seung-min attacks Yoon Seok-yeol and Choi Jae-hyung" on his Facebook, criticizing, "Yoo Seung-min and Hong Joon-pyo are still focusing only on internal team-killing 'acts' targeting Yoon Seok-yeol rather than criticizing the government."
He said, "Lee Jun-seok is running around as the 'hitman' for Yoo Seung-min and Hong Joon-pyo," adding, "Is there any other news that more clearly reveals who currently represents the People Power Party, the main opposition party and presidential candidate?"
Furthermore, Jeong directly stated, "Yoo Seung-min, Hong Joon-pyo, and their henchman Lee Jun-seok should be ashamed in front of the people, especially voters who desire a regime change."
It is known that Yoon Seok-yeol initially 'liked' the post on his official Facebook account but has since canceled it. As the controversy grew, Yoon's camp moved to contain the situation, calling it an 'SNS manager's mistake.'
A camp official explained to multiple media outlets, "Currently, Yoon's official Facebook is managed by both the manager and Yoon himself," adding, "The manager thought they were logged in under their own ID, clicked 'like,' and then immediately canceled it."

In particular, Lee Cheol-gyu, head of the organizational headquarters of Yoon's campaign and a member of the People Power Party, strongly criticized Lee Jun-seok on his Facebook, saying, "I am shocked to hear news that the party leader recorded a phone call with a prominent candidate from his own party and that the transcript was leaked."
In response, Lee Jun-seok denied the existence of any recording, stating, "Since the recording file does not exist, naturally, the transcript does not exist either." He explained on his Facebook, "The conversation with candidate Yoon on the date in question (the 12th) was subject to focused coverage by more than 60 journalists, and since the conversation was brief, most of the content was conveyed to the journalists during the reporting process. It seems that the orally conveyed parts were compiled into a document."
