The newly released product is designed for six people and expands the bespoke design, which allows consumers to choose colors according to their preferences and lifestyles, to countertop products. It features a minimal design on a glossy glass panel and is available in three colors: charcoal for a calm feel, pink for a bright atmosphere, and white for a sophisticated mood, allowing customers to choose according to their kitchen interior.
Unlike existing freestanding or built-in types, the Bespoke Dishwasher Countertop can be placed on top of kitchen furniture countertops, making installation easy even in kitchens with limited space or for those who move frequently.
Although compact in appearance, the Bespoke Dishwasher Countertop can store four sets of Korean soup bowls, rice bowls, cups, and spoons, as well as pots and cooking utensils. The internal basket depth is 452 mm, the largest in Korea for the same capacity, allowing storage of a pan with a diameter of 260 mm, and larger pans can be washed when placed horizontally. It can also wash up to six large plates along with three wine glasses. Additionally, it features a folding storage structure tailored to Korean dishware shapes and a detachable utensil holder.
The Bespoke Dishwasher Countertop also includes washing and sterilizing functions. The wide lower washing blade measuring 425 mm and the upper booster washing blade rotate together to create a dual three-dimensional water flow, and the dual washing system sprays strong water jets on the front and back of dishes more than 100 times per minute for effective cleaning.
It also uses high-temperature water at 75 degrees Celsius to remove grease and bacteria. By selecting the high-temperature sterilization option in the standard course or operating the 'full sterilization' course that cleans the inside of the device, it can eliminate 99.999% of various harmful bacteria such as E. coli. After washing, the 'automatic door opening' function keeps steam inside from lingering to prevent odors or bacterial growth, and the interior is made of metal material for hygiene, according to a Samsung Electronics official.
The Bespoke Dishwasher Countertop is priced at 790,000 KRW. Pre-sales began on the 16th through Kakao Makers, and from the 17th, it will be available for purchase through general distribution channels including Samsung Digital Plaza and Samsung.com.
