On the 12th, at the 'One Team Camp Day' held at the camp office in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, when asked about the 'verbal dispute between the party leader and a specific candidate,' former Governor Won stated, "I feel a sense of crisis that a serious problem could arise from this wrestling match." The relationship between Lee and Yoon's camp has deepened in emotional rifts, with even the word 'impeachment' being mentioned.
Former Governor Won said, "I deeply regret the fact that Yoon's camp has crossed the line with remarks and attacks against the party leader or leadership," adding, "Despite the lack of communication and insufficient opinion gathering between the party leadership, including Lee, and the primary preparation committee and candidate camps, they unilaterally and oversteppingly announce matters beyond their authority and push them as established facts, causing misunderstandings. This is undesirable for the trust and authority of the party leadership."
He continued, "I believe they have crossed or are about to cross the line," emphasizing, "If it is clear that the line has been crossed, the leadership should organize personnel matters on their side, and the candidates should do the same, and various related issues should be neatly resolved."
Former Governor Won's camp has raised issues related to the primary preparation committee with Lee. Kim Yong-tae, former lawmaker and general director of Won's camp, said, "(Former Governor Won) fully conveyed the intention that it should not proceed as a one-way street and requested that it be discussed at the Supreme Council."
