BlueberryNFT Signs Business Agreement with Korean Professional Basketball League for 'Pro Basketball Development'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] BlueberryNFT announced that it held a business agreement ceremony for the "development of professional basketball" with the Korean Basketball League (KBL) at 11 a.m. on the 12th at the KBL Center in Nonhyeon-dong. The ceremony was attended by KBL Commissioner Kim Heeok, BlueberryNFT CEO Oh Seongwon, and officials from both organizations.
BlueberryNFT stated, "Through this business agreement, the commercial use of KBL publicity rights (video, portrait, name, character) has become possible, and fans will be able to meet the 10 professional basketball teams and their affiliated players as NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens)."
BlueberryNFT plans to create NFT KBL digital player cards using the publicity rights of the 10 KBL teams and their affiliated players. NFTs utilize blockchain technology to assign unique identification values to digital content, making it possible to create digital originals of videos, images, music, and other content that cannot be duplicated. Recently, NFT assets have been considered investment targets.
