Ulsan Office of Education Distributes Emergency Learning Packages to All Schools
Materials for Emergency Remote Learning Transition for 1st and 2nd Grade Elementary Students
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hong Jeonghwan] The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education will distribute a four-month supply of 'Emergency Learning Kits' for 1st and 2nd grade elementary students to all schools in the district in preparation for an urgent shift to remote classes in the second semester.
In the second semester, 1st and 2nd grade elementary students are excluded from the 'school density' target up to social distancing level 3, allowing daily attendance. However, if a confirmed case occurs in a grade, partial remote classes at the class or grade level may be implemented for a period ranging from one day to up to 14 days.
Accordingly, the Office of Education will produce emergency learning kits in the form of printed worksheets that can be used immediately, allowing schools to secure time to prepare for remote classes, and will distribute them in the second semester following the first semester.
