Gwangju Bank Launches 'ObanghaGO, SeubakmeokGO' Event
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 12th that it will hold the ‘ObanghaGO SeubeokmeokGO’ event from the 17th to October 10.
This event targets customers who newly subscribe to Gwangju Bank’s open banking service and transfer funds from other financial institutions’ accounts to their Gwangju Bank personal accounts, as well as customers who newly subscribe to Gwangju Bank savings and apply for open banking automatic withdrawal service from other financial institutions’ accounts to their savings accounts. A total of 4,042 people will be given Starbucks Americano coupons through a lottery.
Participation in the event is limited to customers who have agreed to SMS and mobile phone marketing, and applicants will be automatically entered upon meeting the event requirements.
Prizes will be awarded in two rounds, with 2,021 winners selected each week for four weeks among customers who meet the event conditions.

Building on this, the bank is making every effort to launch services in the second half of this year to serve as a comprehensive financial assistant for local residents and customers, including asset management, and to support convenient financial life.

By establishing a Digital Finance Center, launching products exclusively for non-face-to-face channels, and developing processes for customer management, the bank is accelerating the strengthening of its digital financial competitiveness. Since 2019, it has been innovating through collaboration with fintech companies in a fiercely competitive financial environment, such as conducting the first mobile loan interest rate comparison service in the first-tier financial sector via the Toss app, and providing Toss Money when opening Gwangju Bank’s ‘Ssolssolhan MY Account’ on the Toss app.
