US Issues 'Very High Risk' Travel Alert for France, Israel, and 5 Other Countries
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has added seven countries, including France and Israel, to the list of 'very high risk' travel destinations due to the spread of COVID-19, local media reported on the 10th.
In the travel advisory guidelines updated the previous day, the CDC added seven countries?France, Israel, Aruba, Eswatini, French Polynesia, Iceland, and Thailand?to the 'Level 4' list, indicating areas that are 'very high risk' for travel due to COVID-19.
The CDC classifies countries with more than 500 COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people over the past 28 days as Level 4 'very high risk' destinations.
