This Creative Convergence Project is conducted through 10 centers selected by public contest and three universities (Gwangju National University of Education, Sunchon National University, Mokpo National University), selecting elementary and middle school students from various regions of Jeonnam and implementing a self-developed creative convergence program. A performance sharing event is also planned after all courses are completed.
The Future Talent Development Program supported by the Jeonnam Future Education Foundation operates separately as a creative convergence talent development project for elementary and middle school students, an AI (Artificial Intelligence) talent development project for general high school students, and a Blue Economy talent development project for vocational high school students.
The centers and universities running the projects provide differentiated programs by integrating subjects such as ▲science ▲mathematics ▲SW coding ▲invention and maker education using excellent instructors and advanced teaching tools, receiving positive responses from participating students and parents.
A student participating in the project said, “Studying mathematics and geometry through SW coding and designing directly in the metaverse space is a new method I have never experienced at school, so it is very enjoyable,” adding, “If I have the chance, I want to participate in this project again.”
