At the signing ceremony, Kim Yong-gi, CEO of Lotte Distribution Business Division, Kim Yoon-ji, CEO of Btob, and Oh Young-na, CEO of the Korea Single Mothers Support Network, attended.
Lotte Distribution Business Division stated that as part of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, it is discovering various activities for socially vulnerable groups. In particular, with 95% of its employees being women, Lotte Distribution Business Division, as a women-friendly company, considered the reality that single mothers are pushed into poor and unstable jobs due to social prejudice and discrimination, and thus proceeded with this business agreement to open employment opportunities and provide quality jobs for them.
This business agreement is a three-party collaboration system where Btob promotes recruitment opportunities nationwide through the online platform "Poom," which connects resources needed by vulnerable families such as single-parent families, and provides applicants with resume and interview coaching. The Korea Single Mothers Support Network, based on 10 years of experience supporting single mothers, identifies single parents in need of jobs on-site and connects them to Btob.
When the two organizations connect single-parent families who want to work, Lotte Distribution Business Division provides various jobs and conducts job-specific customized training to offer stable employment. For employees whose hiring is confirmed, a separate food support system necessary for the growth and development of their children will be newly established to practically support their livelihood.
