[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] LG Electronics announced on the 5th that it will launch the limited edition of its ultra-lightweight laptop brand ‘LG Gram’ called ‘LG Gram Black Label.’ It will be limited to 1,000 units from the 6th to the 22nd, priced at 3.19 million KRW.
LG Electronics applied the highest specifications among all Gram lineups released so far to the Gram Black Label. Additionally, the exterior, the Gram logo on the front, and accessories such as the pouch and mouse are all designed in black to enhance its premium feel. Furthermore, a Montblanc laptop bag, a European luxury brand, is provided as a standard accessory.
LG Electronics also differentiated the after-sales service (A/S) for the Gram Black Label. Until August 31, 2024, a one-time free battery replacement service is offered, and the free warranty period is extended from the existing one year to two years. Moreover, customers who purchase the product during the pre-order period can receive an engraving service on the touchpad if desired.
The new product supports 32GB memory (RAM) and 1TB SSD, and applies the Intel 11th generation processor Tiger Lake R, which is about 10% faster in data processing speed compared to previous models. It is also equipped with Intel’s integrated graphics processor Iris Xe, providing fast speeds for high-definition video work and gaming.
Additionally, it has obtained certification for the ‘Intel EVO platform,’ a new standard for next-generation laptops proposed by Intel, proving powerful performance, long-lasting battery life, and fast charging capabilities. The new product features a WQXGA (2560x1600) high-resolution IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, and meets 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut standard set by the Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI), delivering rich and natural color expression.
