Diving Woo Haram Advances to Men's 3m Springboard Final
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] South Korean diving representative Woo Haram (23, Korea Sports Promotion Foundation) advanced to the finals.
On the 3rd, at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics diving men's 3m springboard semifinals held at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre in Japan, Woo Haram scored a total of 403.15 points over six rounds, ranking 12th and advancing to the finals. Among the 18 athletes who advanced to the semifinals, the top 12 qualify for the finals.
Woo Haram started the day tied for 15th place with 61.20 points in the first round. In the second round, he scored 59.50 points, slipping to 16th place. However, in the third round, he increased the difficulty and earned 68.40 points, rising to 14th place.
In the fourth round, he scored 73.50 points, moving up to 12th overall, but showed some instability in the fifth round, scoring 64.50 points and dropping to 13th place. In the final sixth round, Woo Haram scored 76.05 points, climbing back to 12th place and securing his spot in the finals by a narrow margin.
