On the same day, Chu posted on her Facebook, saying, "Yoon's words don't even sound like words."
She pointed out, "Feminism should not be politically exploited or used to extend the ruling party's tenure, and it is said that he made remarks implying that feminism hinders healthy relationships between men and women and is a cause of low birth rates. The idea that low birth rates are due to feminism is absurd, and attaching feminism to the extension of power is a ridiculous sophism."
She continued, "There is a blatant lack of common sense and understanding of the history and values of the feminist movement, which aims to eliminate gender discrimination and promote a society that respects life and human rights through solidarity and inclusive values," adding, "There are things a leader should say and things they should refrain from saying."
Furthermore, she added, "A sustainable society is one where there is no gender discrimination, and people live happily with respect and inclusion."
Finally, Chu raised her critical voice, saying, "It is self-contradictory for a former high-ranking official of the Moon Jae-in administration to incite hatred, escalate conflicts, and try to turn everything into an attack on the 'Moon government'."
