According to Gong-su-cheo on the 2nd, from the 26th of last month until the deadline on this day, 37 people applied for the Prosecutor Inspector (Grade 6) position, which is recruiting 7 out of 15, 10 people applied for the Prosecutor Officer (Grade 5) position, which is recruiting 2, and 19 people applied for the Prosecutor Assistant Inspector (Grade 7) position, which is recruiting 6.
The competition rate for Prosecutor Inspector was the highest among the recruitment ranks at 5.3 to 1. The competition rates for Prosecutor Officer and Prosecutor Assistant Inspector were 5 to 1 and 3.2 to 1, respectively.
Applicants for Gong-su-cheo investigators can be those who hold lawyer qualifications, public officials with investigation or inquiry experience, or those with experience in investigative duties as defined by Gong-su-cheo regulations. The term of office is 6 years, renewable, and the mandatory retirement age is 60. Applicants are appointed by the head of Gong-su-cheo after document screening and interviews.
Gong-su-cheo plans to announce the successful candidates of the document screening in September.
