View original image[Muan＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Jeonnam Muan-gun (Governor Kim San) recently held a project briefing session titled ‘Healthy Mind, Warm Companionship’ at the Public Health Center Mental Health Welfare Center, attended by representatives from six welfare facilities including community welfare centers, the agency announced on the 2nd.
This briefing session was held to promote mental health support projects linked with local welfare resources and to establish a cooperative system between the Public Health Center Mental Health Welfare Center and local welfare institutions.
Going forward, the county plans to operate mental health programs and mobile counseling rooms for mentally disabled individuals and local residents using community welfare centers, and to conduct capacity-building training for facility workers to help mentally disabled persons lead smooth daily lives.
Governor Kim San said, “We will do our best to strengthen cooperation with local welfare institutions and improve the quality of life for county residents, including people with disabilities.”
