Anycall and MyMy... Samsung Electronics Exhibits Former Products Donated by Employees
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Samsung Electronics is collecting old products such as mobile phones, air conditioners, and cassette players from its employees and displaying them as historical materials.
According to Samsung Newsroom on the 2nd, the Samsung Innovation Museum recently received 331 old products and materials that no longer exist from 119 employees through the 'Historical Materials Donation Campaign' conducted for employees.
Through the campaign held from June 21 to July 12, developers personally donated items including a window-type air conditioner developed in 1989 and a semiconductor optical amplifier developed in 2000. Donated items also included documents and booklets used in actual past work, binoculars, portable cassette players (My My), portable black-and-white TVs, and the mobile phone 'Anycall'.

Samsung Electronics plans to use the employee-donated items that contain historical footprints as exhibition content at the Samsung Innovation Museum in the future. The Samsung Innovation Museum is conducting donation campaigns not only for employees but also for the general public on an ongoing basis.
