According to the Uljin Coast Guard Station on the 1st, at around 10:47 a.m. on the 31st, a resident discovered and reported that Mr. A (59) was found drowned at the white sand beach near Wolsong-ri, Pyeonghae-eup, Uljin-gun.
According to the Coast Guard's investigation, Mr. A, confirmed to be a nearby resident, is estimated to have been deceased for about one or two days.
On the same day at 2:56 p.m., a male in his 80s, Mr. B, was found floating about 10 meters offshore in front of the Jae-dong Port Health Center in Hupo-eup, Uljin-gun, by a visitor who reported it to the Coast Guard. The man was taken to the hospital but passed away.
