The cooling supplies were purchased with the prize money received after NongHyup P&C was selected as the '2020 NongHyup Excellent Affiliate.' Representatives of NongHyup P&C employees discussed sharing the prize money with those in need and decided to donate it to elderly farmers in rural areas suffering from COVID-19 and heatwaves.
The cooling supplies were delivered to about 200 elderly farming households in Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheongnam-do regions where heatwave warnings were issued.
