City Bus '87' from Deokjeong-dong to Yangju Station to be Established on the 2nd of Next Month
Weekdays total 8 buses, every 15~25 minutes, 64 trips per day
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 29th that "to alleviate the inconvenience of using public transportation caused by the discontinuation of Seoul City Bus Route 108, a new city bus route 87 will be operated from August 2, running between Deokjeong-dong and Yangju Station."
The newly established Bus 87 will start from Chungseong Apartment in Bongyang-dong, pass through Deokjeong Station, Deokjeong Jugong Complex, June Police Substation, Yangju City Hall, and operate round trips to Yangju Station.
On weekdays, a total of 8 buses will operate 64 trips per day at intervals of 15 to 25 minutes. On weekends and public holidays, 6 buses, which is 2 fewer than on weekdays, will operate 48 trips per day at intervals of 20 to 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, Route 108, which operated from Deokjeong-dong in Yangju to Jongno 5-ga, was discontinued due to issues such as the working conditions of transportation workers, as a single trip took more than 5 hours.
